Dear Reader,

Thelemonaideguide.com is a site committed to the advancement of entrepreneurship and small business in America. It is a site, not only for aspiring entrepreneurs of our next generation who need guidance before they start their journeys, but also for those that are already in the game who need some extra help and direction. I draw on the experiences of others and the mistakes they made as my primary method of teaching, in order to, most importantly, help entrepreneurs identify first and foremost, what not to do. Why what not to do? Well, as I’m sure you have heard before, in business, as in life, the difference between a successful person and a person who is not successful yet, is that the successful person has failed more. Keeping this in mind, if entrepreneurs can study the most prevalent mistakes and learn from the experiences of others beforehand, they can learn the lessons while still allowing them the freedom of their own experiences. This is a crucial point, as entrepreneurs do not like to be told what to do. All of these principles can be found in the book How To Ruin a Business Without Really Trying, a book I wrote shortly after losing my second business. The book contains fifty-five such mistakes, and the lessons I learned from them, which allowed me to enter business again with the knowledge and experience to move forward with success.
